Of Colombian origin, born in Caracas (Venezuela), Danyela is a new Latin pop music talent. Her music is a mixture of European and American sounds with a Latin vibe, seeing as she grew up with Caribbean music. Salsa, merengue, ballads and tropical rhythms marked her career as a singer.
At the age of 15, she was singer for a salsa group in Venezuela and at the same time, Danyela interpreted popular songs from the Latin-American music, on stage as well as in recording studios. During a trip to Spain in 2004, she recorded three new songs: Comment ça va, Tengo Sabor, and Va más allá. From Spain she traveled to France, where she is currently living. In Paris she participates in various television shows and concerts. Danyela also collaborates with many French speaking artists. She has also collaborated with some foreign artists and continues being the vocalist for a salsa group. After having worked with producers she decided to become a soloist, writing and composing her own songs. This project became widely known in 2008, it includes “Me quieres envolver”, “Insensato”, and “Mis pensamientos”. Thanks to this project she has signed a distribution contract and is being promoted in Colombia by FM DISCOS Y CINTAS. Now she has presented us with “Otro lugar” her Spanish adaptation of the French song “Quelque part”.
